SCENES FROM THE LIFE OF ANDY WARHOL
The extraordinary diary by avant-garde film-maker, poet and artist Jonas Mekas chronicles Warhol's everyday life and work, and the social and cultural milieu that swirled around him. In this image from the early 1970s, Warhol photographs Anthony Radziwill and John F. Kennedy Jr. in Montauk.
Bodily, 1994, original artwork from the “Waterworks”series (1992-95) is derived from Rauschenberg's own digital photos transferred to clear gelatin surfaces and onto paper with an electric press. The artist was consumed with the process, due to his desire to begin using non-toxic, earth friendly materials. The resulting luminescent quality is reminiscent of watercolor painting.
